Your perfect holiday abroad checklist

I'm a terrible packer. There's something about having to get all that stuff ready that just doesn't agree with my disposition. If I had buckets of money, there are two people I would hire - a full time masseuse. And a personal packer. Seriously. I get really grumpy packing.

The only way I've managed to get around this terrible task, is by creating a list that I tick off as I go thereby making sure I've got everything I need and it's as painless and operation as possible.

Some more tips

Don't forget to weigh your bags after packing to make sure you're not overweight and charged by the airline....and always pack a spare set of clothes in your hand-luggage in case your check-in luggage gets lost or is delayed...

Good list

Thanks for sharing this list. Much appreciated. While a good portion of the list is unnecessary if one is travelling to a developed country, I'm still glad you added these to the list. It will definitely prove useful for those who are travelling to such countries. Thanks alot

Packing for travel

I guess your article is aimed at people going to deserted islands or darkest Africa.
If your going to a civilized place you don't need half that stuff.
How big is your suitcase by the way? Must be vast.
