Stuart Taylor knows all about the ups and downs of travel thanks to his role in the local show, Going Nowhere Slowly. Gotravel24.com chats to him about his travelling tendencies.

Gotravel24.com: Is Going Nowhere Slowly-style road trip you ideal way to travel?
Stuart Taylor:
"Absolutely - It's about enjoying the journey as opposed to focussing on the destination. You often have more fun just drifting along."

Where is the most amazing place your comedic talent has taken you?
"Comedic talent? I guess Berlin or maybe Edinburgh. I love those old cities that are filled with history. As for here in SA... I've done 1-man theatre shows in Jo'burg. I usually leave Cape Town three days before I need to get to Jo'burg & have my own little "going nowhere slowly" for a while."

Are you a bush baby, eco adventurer, extreme thrill-seeker, beach bandit, or five-star freak?
"A little bit of each... I guess variety is the spice of life. If I was leaving today, it would be 5-star. I could so do with a massage on the banks of the Zambezi! "

Local is lekker when you find yourself in...
"There is nothing like hanging out in the Karoo."

My favourite hangout in the global village is...
"New York. Luminous anonymity!"

Your travel nightmare would have to be...
"Having all your clothing stolen while shooting a travel show. Didn't you notice me always wearing one of two t-shirts?"

Your dream getaway would see you...
"Packing the 4X4 and heading north to the Chobe River. There you can enjoy the best game viewing in the world, cross the border into Zambia and spend time at Vic Falls before heading to Lake Malawi. Slowly drift back home through Mozambique! "

Travelling in style is...
"Louis Vuitton suitcases."

Are you a walking holiday itinerary or a spontaneous relaxation rebel?
"Definitely spontaneous relaxation."

Have you had or made any mile-high club propositions?
"I rather spend my time praying that the plane will actually make it."

Your ideal travel companion is...
My iPod... I mean my wife sorry (Wife had just entered the room at that point)

You never travel without your...
"Camera!"

Tip to make and not break the holiday...
"Take half the clothes and double the money... you'll have an unforgettable time!"

What keeps you coming back for more...
"Good service and genuine people."

Catch Stuart doing his one-man show at Jo'burgs Market Theatre until May 2008. Visit Channel 24 for more information.
