Silvermine Nature Reserve A drive up Ou Kaapse weg will take you to Silvermines. It has many nature trails, hikes, magnificent views and clear mountain streams. Your dogs and mountain bikes are also welcome. The entrance fee is R10 per adult and R5 per child. It’s open from 8am to 6pm from Monday through Sunday. Enjoy Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens It’s world-renowned for the beauty and diversity of Cape flora it displays. The estate covers 528 hectares and supports a diverse fynbos and natural forest. Capetonians Kim Engelbrecht Kim Engelbrecht is a South African actress best known for her role as Lolly van Onselen in the SABC3 soap opera Isidingo. This bright star from Belhar, made her screen debut in the 1994 feature film Sarahsarà. She can also be seen in the films Boy Called Twist (2004), The Flyer (2005) and Bunny Chow (2006).

Marc Lottering After dropping out of university he took a job as an usher at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town and that is where the funny man, Marc Lottering was born. He is considered by many to be one of the hottest comics on offer from South Africa.
Minki van der Westhuizen This proudly South African beauty was catapulted onto the international modelling arena at the tender age of 17.
