A little girl's plea over keeping South Africa's rhinos safe has touched the heart of President Jacob Zuma and prompted him to reply, Times Live reports.
The letter from seven-year-old Afeefah Patel of Evans Park (as seen above) was sent to the editor of Joburg-based newspaper, The Times and Mr. Zuma was quick to respond to her in the same manner, through the paper.
In his letter addressed to Ms Afeefah Patel, the president said: ""Thank you very much for your touching letter on the plight of the rhinos, which was published in The Times newspaper on April 16 2012.
"I am happy that at such a young age you have an interest in your environment and want to play a role in its protection.
"I want you to know that our government has been as highly concerned at the staggering numbers of rhinos that have been killed in just this year alone. I am told that the total number is over 103 rhinos."

also:airline seats (from the standpoint of a cmuonser) are essentially unlimited. sure, a given plane can fill up, but there will be plenty more later.alternately, there is only one of my house. if it sells, a buyer might not be able to buy it again for decades (if ever).that's far more perishable from a buyer's standpoint than a plane flight.i think your book is just trying to bound a specific kind of system and being far too limiting as a result. it's a totally arbitrary distinction and only takes one side of of the transaction into account. |
