Durban > Hotel

Umhlanga Protea

The Umhlanga Protea was one of the few hotels in Durban that could accommodate me on a moment’s notice (cancellation) despite it being a very busy period.

The thing that surprised me the most about this hotel was the spaciousness of it's rooms. I also didn't know that they had self-catering apartment-style rooms available.

Staff are friendly and accommodating but I was quite surprised by how expensive their breakfast was - R115 - who can eat that much in the morning anyway.
