StayEasy Century City
By John BlakeMay 29th, 2009

I was pleasantly suprised by this hotel. The StayEasy's are well-priced, and this one is well-decorated, has a pool, and is close to Canal Walk. The rooms are on the small-side, but adequate for a short stay.

This is the perfect hotel in Cape Town for business travel. The staff are very accommodating, there's a great pool, and it's really well located - close to the city for daytime meetings, and close to the seaboard for evening dinners.
Garden Court Marine Parade

Christmas on Durban's Southbeach is a logistical nightmare. Luckily, the Marine Parade hotel, with its family-centric vibe made our stay-over so much more appealing. All of the rooms had excellent views of Durban's beachfront, were large and spacious enough to accommodate the most raucous of holiday moods. The breakfasts, served as a buffet, were well presented and also catered for halaal. A thumbs-up to the attentive staff who, despite the hotel being full to its maximum capacity, were extremely helpful and welcoming. The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 is due to the fact that we had a foul-smelling blocked drain in our bathroom. The problem was resolved but only after a number of calls to reception who (surprisingly) were unable to get a plumber out.

Excellent in every sense of the word!!! To say thank you seems so inadequate!! I was completely taken back by the outstanding service and attention to detail by all staff members. My weeks spent at this hotel convinces me that establishments like this one are 100% ready for 2010. To the managment and all staff 'Thank You' for making my stay so welcoming. It is so nice to see all the staff immaculately dressed and friendly. VIVA North west!!!!!

As a regular business traveller I get to see hotels etc from all different aspects, this hotel in Witbank was very dissapointing, the decor outside is really unique, however there is a saying that you should 'Never judge a book by it's cover' well.......I was very dissapointed, on my arrival I had to walk around trying to find somebody in order to get my key, once this was done I found my room only to discover that the sliding door to my room did not lock (there was a wrought iron security gate) I had one small towel that had to suffice for hand towel and bath towel. NO bath mat, NO shower other than a cheap contraption in the bath, the linen was very tatty and frayed, overall very dissapointing. The breakfast's were just as bad, eggs and bacon and toast all thrown together on one plate, looked like dormitory food. Tea cups chipped overall a very bad experience.
